got a LTE in NY times- response to the article that folks who shunned the vaccine and get COVID exect the “governemnt “ to cover cost of their monocromal antibody treatments - I said we are the governemment and I think money better spent elsewhere why should those of us who got vaccinated pay for the fooloish folks who did not
Ken Patterson (he/him)
01:30:29
The Motivational Interviewing training is great—anyone who has struggles with their congressional offices should join these trainings. see the weekly update

01:34:28
time for another op ed on this topic - several years ago attended meida traininng in DC and got OP ed in the Marin IJ on food insecuriny, malnutrition and stunting . And what about the fact that YB and other diseases are on the rise in the developing counties - no one speaks about this in the media
Oscar Lanzi
01:36:42
Why do you suppose the Vitamin A funding dropped in 2018?
Ashley Swaby
01:39:32
Anybody got a link for an article on the Power 4 John brought up?

This is the closest I can find with a quick Google: https://www.usglc.org/blog/reigniting-the-fight-against-global-malnutrition/

Oscar Lanzi
01:42:32
OK I see the Senate bnumber now. now.
Carolyn Prouty
01:43:00
I’m understanding that “Power 4” is language from RESULTS. Searching for articles on global malnutrition that name those specific 4 programs will get you there. The one I posted above in Lancet has some information on this topic. Hope that helps!
Oscar Lanzi

Craig Roshaven
01:45:50
I want to second Betsy Skipps recommendation for Motivational Interviewing. I used some of the techniques I learned from the 2 sessions I’ve attended so far in a recent meeting with a senior legislative aid of one of our local Republican MoC. I think the open ended questions we asked the LA were meaningful and useful.
Craig Roshaven
