Progress certainly makes a difference.

It does—seeing something move is proof of concept

I did the same thing as Beth. I created a group that had a consistent schedule since the group I had been in was moving meeting times with no consistent plan of action for how it operated.I also started watching the webinars, even if it meant watching alone, so I could learn since the group I had been a part of just got together and watched movies, had dinners, or talked about issues, but didn't relate it to RESULTS issue + policy.

my essential barrier is that there are no Results members or groups near me so I became a free agent knowing almost nothing about Results

I second, Misty. Until I could grow a group, I found support in the broader RESULTS network that I knew. It adds so much value so it's great you can tap into partners all over, Leslye.

Exactly. We are continuing to learn too. Times change. Approaches have to be adjusted.

What motivated me was the amazing fact that I could actually, by dint of personal action, CHANGE the WORLD! And move billions of dollars around. It was hard to imagine, but the fact became real to me through the webinars.

I really love how the website is structured now in these modules and different categories. More intuitive and easy to explore. The content is easier to digest, as well. I'm enjoying it and I'm getting great feedback from my group members.

Houston US Poverty has had a separate webinar (from weekly webinar) for last three weeks to submit letters-to-the-editor. We are so proud of Eloise, so far nada for us. But we are hopeful.
