We in Houston are mindful of who owns which papers - Houston Chronicle, Beaumont Enterprise, San Antonio News-Express and a San Francisco paper (can't remember name) are owned by same group. We heard the editors from those papers meet (virtually} regularly to decide on lead editorials.
