are their bills being introduced to address all of our goals or is that part of our ask?

33:50
are we addressing or informing folks about micro credit programs such as domestic grameemn

34:37
Betsy, No, we are not working on domestic microcredit.

You can see some housing bills we track here: https://results.org/volunteers/action-center/bill-tracker/?vvsrc=%2fBills

35:46
wow why not

37:18
but ultimately we often build support for policy proposals that get embedded in broader legislation -- for example, the spending caps deal Congress will negotiate later this spring, or big tax/housing bills we might see in 2021

In meetings with MOCs, are there specifics we are asking for? Bills out there?

01:04:05
Not yet... though we're really focused on getting a lot of pressure on key negotiators to include a bump in housing asistance in a big spending caps deal. So, urge your members of Congress to tell congressional leaders to lift the spending caps and support a large boost in federal rental assistance.7. In addition, urge policymakers to support bipartisan efforts to ban housing discrimination based on income source to create more opportunities for families.
