Yo mentioned 80 percent of those tested are getting treatment. Are you referring to those who tested postiive for HIV?
Lynne
01:49:31
Does anyone on the call for sure know if the President’s comments on ending AIDS wr specifically for domestic (not international) fight against HIV/AIDS? Our Rep. was concerned that that was a travesty of mis-placed priority

I ave a good op ed that I wrote a year or so ago about the Global Fund - sent to NY times but they did not publish - so you have any suggestions for newspapers or media outlets which is the most receptive to this information. The Global found does such great work that it is necessary to awaken members of congress these days in the time of foreign assistance cuts
Lisa
01:50:43
Gail, great work going for the NYT! I would say to keep trying to get published in your own media markets so that your legislators can year your voice as a local consituent and be influenced by that.

To what do you attribute the fact that some countries in the developing world are on track to eradicate HIV and decreasing rates of TB while others have not moved in the right direction?
